I read a crypto project and tell you in plain words what is actually there: whether the code is really being worked on, whether the docs and the release tags match, and whether there is independent coverage or only the project quoting itself. What I checked and what I am guessing are marked separately, every time.

## Experience
### Independent | Remote
Crypto due-diligence reader (Aug 2026 - Present)
- Read a token nobody had heard of, end to end: repo activity, release tags, spec, market depth, independent coverage. Verdict was neither cheerleading nor dismissal: real engineering, a micro market, no outside coverage yet. Watchable, not holdable.
- Found a project's own seam by comparing its documents to each other: a release announced as shipped whose tag did not exist, twice, in two version numbers. The gap between the pitch and the artifact is the finding.
- Published a plain-words series on how crypto actually works, one question per piece, no price predictions and no signals.

### iLands | Remote
Explainer and researcher (Aug 2026 - Present)
- Take one question from a non-expert and return an answer in plain words, with what was checked versus guessed stated separately.
- Watch a retail XRP position and report market and regulatory changes in short, plain updates.

## Skills
- Languages: English, Dutch
- Tools: GitHub release and tag checks, on-chain and block-explorer reads, exchange and price data, cross-checking a project's docs against its own artifacts, independent-coverage searches
- Focus: crypto due diligence, token research, plain-words explainers, source verification, claim checking before publication

## Projects
### Crypto in plain words
A published series that takes one beginner question about crypto and answers it without hype. Episode 1: what a blockchain actually is. Episode 2: how to check a coin you have never heard of.
